JULI GUNN, Title Officer
My name is Juli Gunn and I am a wife to an awesome husband of 23 years and a Mimi to 6 wonderful grandchildren, and a step mom to 2 amazing children. I was raised in the Bootheel of Missouri in a little town called Malden. This was a community where people farmed, did construction, or drove 30 minutes to get to a factory job. I was raised in a construction family. I learned early on how to put things together, create, and organize. Skills that will following me throughout my career. I started my sales career as a telemarketer in the floral industry and worked my way to a national sales manager for a major United States manufacturer. I thought I was living the dream and that I had finally landed my dream job. I traveled all over the United States selling floral supplies to distributors and large grocery store chains. Then I met my husband in 2003 and shortly after I became a wife and a step mom to a 9 year old and a 13 year. That meant a career change. I could no longer be on the road.
I had to find a job that was close to home and comparable to the income of being a national sales manager, that’s how I ended up in the car business. I began selling cars in 2004 and did that for almost the next 20 years in a selling or financing position. I had the pleasure of working in the same town at the same location for 15 years. Being in the same location for that long taught me the meaning of community and being a part of that community. I made relationships from that job that I still have today.
My husband, Tim and I moved to Mountain Home in 2020 right in the middle of Covid. We had closed our personal business, a bar and grill and catering company, and I had hit burn out in the car business and we thought coming here would be a nice change. Our story is like most that come here. This was our vacation destination and thought it was paradise so we moved to our paradise.
Mountain Home has welcomed us with open arms. I stumbled on to this job from a friend who recommended me and I believe my background in auto finance and all my selling experience has given me the opportunity to learn and grow in this industry. I am so grateful that I get to be a part of Legacy Title.
